TypoMonitor
TypoMonitor for Agencies
You launched the site and the retainer continues, but the content keeps changing. TypoMonitor keeps watching each client site so you find the mistakes first.
The Problem With Client Sites After Launch
After handover, clients edit their own pages, add blog posts, swap images and paste copy from documents. Your name is still on the site, so a misspelled headline or a dead pricing link reflects on you. Checking dozens of sites by hand every month is slow, and it is the first task dropped when a project gets busy.
A scheduled scan removes the guesswork. Every client site is revisited, every page is read for spelling, and every link and image is requested to confirm it still works. You get a short list of what changed since the last visit instead of a full audit each time.
A Monthly Routine for a Retainer Client
Add the client domain, load the brand vocabulary once (product names, the founder surname, industry terms) so that correct words are never flagged, and choose the sections that matter. From then on the scan runs without anyone remembering to start it.
At the start of each month, open the report for the site, fix the items that sit in your area of the build, and forward the content issues to the client with the exact page and the exact sentence. Because each finding shows the surrounding text, the client can correct it in a minute.
- Keep one shared vocabulary per client so repeat false alarms disappear.
- Send alerts for dead links to the developer and spelling alerts to the content owner.
- Use the report as proof of care during renewal conversations.
Launch Day and Redesign Checks
Before a launch, scan the staging copy to catch placeholder text, misspelled navigation labels and links that still point to the old address. After the switch, scan the live site again, because redirects and moved assets often break in ways staging never showed.
The same pattern works for a redesign of a single section. Scan before to record the baseline, scan after to confirm that nothing slipped through, and keep both reports in the project folder.
Scaling Across Many Sites
The Agency plan is built for portfolios with many domains. Each site keeps its own vocabulary, schedule and alert recipients, so a problem on one client never floods the inbox of another. When a new client joins, adding the domain and the vocabulary takes a few minutes.
If a client questions the value of ongoing care, the history of fixed issues answers the question with specific pages and dates rather than general promises.
Frequently asked questions
Can I scan a client site that I do not host?
Yes. TypoMonitor reads the public pages of any site the same way a visitor would, so hosting does not matter. Only scan sites you are allowed to monitor.
Can I add the client brand words so they are not flagged?
Yes. Each site has its own brand vocabulary, and words you add are accepted on every future scan of that site.
